Two Suspects Steal $4,000 Bottle of Louis XIII Cognac From Upscale Tempe Restaurant

TEMPE — Two suspects allegedly stole a $4,000 bottle of Louis XIII Cognac from the upscale Three Thirty Three restaurant late Monday night. The theft left the popular Loop 202 establishment asking the public for help identifying the crooks.

Surveillance video captured the theft in the dining room. A man in a cowboy hat allegedly looked around the restaurant while a woman allegedly slipped the pricey bottle into her purse. The woman then walked out as the man continued to sip on his drink.

The bottle retails for $4,000 according to staff. The suspects left the area in a black SUV with a license plate number of 34A8H5.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle is asked to contact Tempe Police at 480-350-8311.

The incident occurred off of the Loop 202 Red Mountain and Scottsdale Road. The restaurant is located in the heart of Tempe.
